The Riverland Rose and Garden Festival between 9-18 October is 10 days of all things gardening and recognised as the 4th largest garden festival in Australia.  2026 is going to be another successful festival with a variety of open gardens, community flower shows, the festival fair and markets, the Gala dinner, tea parties, craft workshops, nature tourism and gardening seminars.  However, this year there is an exciting new addition to the program with the introduction of a "Streets in Bloom" trail.  Unlike the open gardens the Streets in Bloom trail is intended to provide visitors with more beautiful garden content during the week of the festival.  Residents may have a front garden with unique features and plants that may be viewed from the roadway or footpath by following a pre-planned trail route.  Each year is designed to offer locals and visitors alike a unique and unforgettable gardening experience that will leave a lasting impression.  Why not save the dates to "Stop & Smell the Roses".
